About mCRPC man speaking with doctor

Considering your next mCRPC treatment

There is a lot to process when hearing your, or a loved one's, prostate cancer has spread.

About mCRPC: metastatic Castration-Resistant Prostate Cancer

There are different types of prostate cancer that you may have heard of:

  • Prostate cancer that has spread outside the prostate is considered metastatic

  • Prostate cancer that is no longer responding to hormone treatment that lowers testosterone is considered castration-resistant

When your cancer is metastatic and castration-resistant, it is called mCRPC.

If you have mCRPC, you may also be PSMA+ (prostate-specific membrane antigen positive)
You can find out if you are PSMA+ with a PSMA-PET scan
