PLUVICTO is given every 6 weeks for up to 6 doses.^1* After that, your PLUVICTO treatment is complete. If PLUVICTO is given together with other treatments, you may continue taking them. Talk to your doctor about your treatment plan.

It’s important to know that your sweat, blood, and urine give off radiation after each dose of PLUVICTO.^1,7

By following a few simple precautions in the first few days after treatment, you can reduce radiation exposure to others.¹

Keep a safe distance from others after each dose

Distancing does not mean complete isolation. One way you can plan to keep in touch with friends and family is through phone or video calls.

On the way home from treatment:

• If taking a car, sit behind an empty passenger seat so that you are safely distanced from the driver⁹

• Avoid using public transportation for more than 1 hour during the first 3 days after treatment. When using it, do your best to follow the 3-feet distancing recommendation⁴

At home:

Because your body gives off radiation after each dose of PLUVICTO, especially in urine, follow the below practices for at least 2 days afterward to minimize radiation exposure to others.^9,10

Remember to drink plenty of water during those 2 days to help with frequent urination, and try to defecate (poop) every day.⁴

• Consider sitting down to urinate to reduce splatter in the restroom⁴

• Flush toilets twice and wash hands thoroughly⁴

• Shower daily for at least the first 7 days after treatment^9,10

• Do not share towels and washcloths with others^9,10

• Wash your dishes separately from others¹

• Wash clothes that contain your sweat, blood, or urine separately from those of others when doing laundry¹⁰

• Keep your plastic trash bags separate from other trash and away from children and animals¹⁰ 

In public:

• You will be given a Discharge Card. Carry it with you throughout treatment, especially during travel or hospital visits. Small amounts of radiation from your body may trigger radiation monitors¹⁰

• Tell health care providers that you were treated with PLUVICTO if¹¹:

  • You need medical care during the first 2 weeks after a PLUVICTO dose, as there may still be some radiation in your body

  • You need to give blood, urine, or stool samples during the first 10 days after a PLUVICTO dose, as the samples might have radiation
